Last night we had one of the most epic Divino BetSatori experiences up to date. We got to sing “Show Your Love” live with Tubby Love and Amber Lily right outside the Jon Mullen Gallery in downtown Boulder. It was awesome, super duper awesome.
I also asked Tubby if he would be open to collaborating on a track for our first album release and he said MAYBE =D
Imagine that, Divino BetSatori and Tubby Love on the first track of the “Show Your Love” album. I see it happening!!
Huge shout-out to Jon Mullen and his gallery for hosting their conservaton photography event and making this meeting possible. Another big thank you to all who work to preserve our natural lands. Bless you all.
Musicians in the Tribe
This is a huge deal for us given that Tubby Love and Amber Lily are some of our most favorite musicians, along with Trevor Hall, Satsang, Wookiefoot, Ayla Nereo, Rising Appalachia, Yaima, and Paul Izack, to mention a few from this beautiful tribe.
On top of all that, I had a chance to give Tubby Love on of our new Divino BetSatori “business cards”. They are fresh of the press and he was the first one to receive one, a huge honor for all of us and a token of trust, passion and destiny.
It has been almost a year since I started day dreaming about playing live with Tubby and Amber, I definitely saw it coming but wasn’t expecting it so soon. Sure, it was in the street, in a jam-out format with a little under 20 people present, but we were there, and that’s the most important piece.
After the jam session I got to drop in with Amber. We had a meaningful conversation about their vision and their capacity to continue bringing high vibes to the people. It was refreshing to loosen up and talk to them one-on-one, I am still getting over the starstruck phase of our relationship. : )
Tribe in the Love Portal
After Tubby and Amber left, a group of us remained playing songs and indulging in group hugs.
It’s been awesome to play songs to members of our community. Some are starting to learn them and share positive feedback, I even had a few musicians ofer to play with me. Feels like we are officially in a new part of our musical journey, where the doors are opening and the tunes are flowing with more ease and power, reaching deeper into people’s hearts and minds. The confidence I am gaining for these encounters is having a huge impact on me, my passion for the music, my desire to share my songs and my availability to be present, holding space for the current of love to flow through me.
Recordings are Closer than Ever
It’s funny how all of this happened half a block from the place where a few hours earlier I had met with my friend Todd to talk about recording my first Album. Todd was gracious to meetup with me, listen to my vision and give me some solid advice on how to go about recording my first tracks. It was during that conversation that I told Todd I wanted to include my favorite musicians in my album, and he gave me the confidence I needed to ask Tubby a few hours later. It’s wild to see these synchronicities at play.
During the course of this week and the next I will be meeting with more musicians, a producer and the person who might end up being the Divino BetSatori manager. Gratitude for all of them who open their hearts and schedule and contribute to the manifestation of this dream. May all our efforts flourish with an empowering product that will uplift the heart’s of all who come across it.
Excited to see what comes next… Divino BetSatori at Red Rocks next week? Who knows, at this pace, impossible is nothing. =D
