Last night’s show was a huge success, despite numerous setbacks, we delivered a memorable presentation, and got some excellent feedback from attendees.
The turnout was excellent, with all tables filled, and all chairs taken. I was concerned for a moment that we would fall short filling up the space, but seems like we got just the right amount of people in there.
Michael, the owner at BOCO Cider seemed to be having a great time throughout the night, which is always a good sight, we were really hoping to do well tonight so we can come back in the near future, and by the end of the night we earned a spot to return to this venue, most likely some time in May!… Remember to Sign Up to our Newsletter so you know when we schedule new events.
When it comes to the sound and the songs, I think we did a great job as a band, specially considering the group that played today had only met once before the show. I am sure we will continue to improve as a group, and performances will continue to get exponentially better. It also helps when we can have a bit more time with out sound check, usually I get to the venues 90 minutes before showtime, to set up the sound, altar, and merch table, but lately I’ve been thinking we really need two full hours to go through the whole process and get the best sound possible for the show.
The crowd was really great, we received some very positive feedback, but the best part was that we got people singing and dancing! We even had an attendee bless us with his vision of us playing at Boulder Theater in less than one year. It would be amazing if that became true!
I am excited to go through the recordings from the night, see what we did well, and what needs improvement. Hopefully we have some solid videos for our Divino BetSatori YouTube Chanel.
Super grateful for everyone who showed up tonight, my family, our musicians, and the crew at BOCO Cider. It was exactly what I was hoping for, and I am excited to get back out there.
Right now our next event is March 16th at Karma Yoga Denver.
Hopefully we are able to squeeze another event between now and then.
In the meantime, we’ll keep working on improving these songs, and getting ready for the next wave. 🙂
