I am in my room, visualizing Divino BetSatori’s discography, writing the names of profesional musicians I want to colaborate, as I listen to Campfire Anthems by Tubby Love. Pumped.
Today is the day and this is the way. Seriously calling in a fiddle player, also interested in a cello’s and standup base. Looks like the first album will be on the humble side, with a handful of acustic instruments, mostly supported by friends and family. At the same time, there is room in the records for artists like Tubby Love and Amber Lily to drop in and join us.
Feeling blessed and grateful for friends like Todd, Jim and Justin who’ve been gracious with their time and expertise. They all been dropping some deep wisdom on this journey. Thank you Senseis.
Old Songs and New Songs
A few days ago I droped a post on Instagram about reaching 20 songs and over this past week I finished two more. The last one being one of my new favorites. Now I am seriouslly considering focusing on the 6 songs of this first album. When I compare the new with the old, I realize how much work the first songs need to be polished. I am excited to print those and revist them, with a fresh new pair of eyes.
I am curious to see how long it takes to record this first album. Even tho I’ve never done this before I feel confident that it is going to be a smooth process.
