Been wanting to share a bit about how awesome it’s been to have all these rehearsals with so many different musicians. The last handful of gathering we’ve had felt so sweet, it’s hard to ask for more.
And at the same time, we keep growing, improving, and moving forward on this adventure with this music project.
It’s quite an experience to get so deep into dissecting the musical compositions we chose for each mantra. On one hand, it seems silly to be so preoccupied with the arrangements, from the nitty gritty to all the details, why not just Ram Ram Ram and forget about the rest?… And on the other hand, that intense attention, not only to the details, but also on how to communicate efficiently with the band members, it is all part of the practice.
There are countless names, and countless tunes to praise the One and it’s forms. We’ve really only scratched the surface in terms of building up a repertoire, and each song’s arrangements could be improved accordingly.
Perhaps most important is the way we organize the rehearsals moving forward, implementing systems for things to flow smoothly, and have a good time while we practice effectively.
One thing is for sure, going forward we will make sure to continue recording as many rehearsals as possible, to add on to our collection on our YouTube channel.
